    Max II w/ Predator 670

    Hello,

New to this, and have a few questions. I am dropping a Predator 670 into a Max 2. I'm running into an issue where the belt isn't quite long enough for how big the engine is next to the T20. I'd rather not have the engine right up next to the transmission and was wondering if anyone knew if there were longer belt lengths that would accommodate the clutch and be long enough to move the engine further back.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. There isn't any sort of name on the belt, clutch, or Max. Not sure of the year either. Kinda jumped into this a little sooner than I should but having a blast trying to figure this stuff out!

    Thanks,
    Tom

Welcome to the site and to the 6x6 club. Post some pics of your clutch setup and someone on here can likely tell you what it is.

Here is a link to some helpful literature, particularly the center to center and belt size data (comet 780 series only). Since you are going to fab new motor mounts, be sure to make them adjustable, so you can fine tune the belt tension.
