    oh16 exhaust

    Ok my OH16 exaust bolts are striped are there any tricks to fixing this . Will a hele coil fix this or will drilling and taping be my beast bet ?
    max2 with 3000lb winch,split shifter, off road lights, and 50 amp alternator

    I'm pretty sure you can drill it out and go up a bolt size with no problem. Mine currently has two different size bolts from what the PO had done before me and it seems to work fine.

    Thanks thats what I was thinking of doing just wanted to check to see if i was wright

    If you have access to a heli-coil set of the correct size, by all means use it. This way if you have to pull the bolts again you will not be dealing with a steel to aluminum match, which is usually problematic at best. Never sieze the exhaust bolts liberally during assembly, and it should save frustration next time.
