    padded floor

Anyone out there ever try softening up your floor with some foam. I came back from Ashtabula with a swollen knee and have stuck some 2" egg pattern foam on my floor. It really feels nice.

I've had problems with my shins hitting the dash or the screws that hold the fuel cell up under the nose in my racer/springer.

I wear shin guards on occasion to make the ride more comfy.

Installed 2 inch foam cushion in the Orange Crush to help with bad knees. The good thing is that it helped to keep my feet in place and vibration was really dampened. This was just some black chilled water foam insallation. Installed in the machine in front of the frame and goes all the way to the top of the tub.

It's defnitely the feedback through the floor that is a problem for my knee. I haven't had problems bumping shins on dash. The foam that seems to work so nice for me has an egg crate pattern on it.
