What size and how much chain is used in a "Gotcha"?
All the chain is missing in the one I have, so there is nothing to go by.
And where is the best place to buy chain?
Looking for good quality and price.
For the best place and price just search the forums. That has been discussed a good bit in the past and the typical consensus is that you will want to buy good chain (non-Chinese) otherwise you will be replacing it again in a year or so along with the sprockets.
For the size, I have no idea but looking at some pictures in the gallery I would guess #40 or 50? Do you have a sprocket out of the machine? If so just take it with you to a local bearing distributor like motion industries and they can tell you what chain will fit or you can measure the teeth. Or maybe Don will see this post since he has or had a Gotcha.
Actually they used 41 chain. The best solution is to use 420 HKK motor cycle chain its the correct pitch and has very good strength. The rollers are larger so they work even with slightly corroded or worn sprockets.
