Ive searched and found a few threads but no real pictures to describe them. Ive seen the floating style and the frame rail mounted ones but is there any other cheap ideas to tension argo chains? I have a 1973 argo but there is no sign that there was ever a tensioner there. The floating ones and they seem the easiest/cheapest to make. Any ideas or pics of what you have would be appreciated. Thanks!
Check out Snapidle tensioners. I've used them never wear out but can thump on turning. Could be fabed with uhmw and straps. Not supposed to be very tight as they float on the chains. Factory pics are ok
