Windsheild/canopy question

    Windsheild/canopy question

    Talked to a guy that has a front windsheild and a canopy top for some year/make attex. Are they all the same for all models ?

    Yes, these are interchangeable between models. All 1971 and newer tops and windshields will work with all the different models for those years, and windshields for the 1970 and older models are also interchangeable between models.

    since i have a 69 it looks like I will need the 70 and later ?

    1968-1970 will work for your application, including such models as the 208TT, ST/300/D, 297, etc.

    is there a way to tell if the windsheild is for a early or late model by looking at it ?

    I don't think you can tell just by looking at it......you'd have to hold it up to your machine to see if it'll work, that's the best way to find out for sure.
