    Any Idea ?

    Anyone have an idea of the purpose of these 3 holes below each headlight ?

    that is where the fuel tank cradle was riveted to the body. here are a few pics of how the tank is mounted. one side catches those 3 holes under each headlight, and the other side rivets to the dash

    And the way that tank is mounted means that your Attex must be an "ST" model 1972 or earlier.
