    floor pan removal

    Can't seem to get the floor-pan out of the 500 super, even if you unbolt the trans handle it won't come out. whats the trick ?

    Both steering sticks need to be removed, as well as the shifter handle. You might need to spray some penetrating oil down there because some people never took them out and they can be rusted in there pretty good.

    the laterals in my wild wolf were rusted in so bad that I had to cut them off. I cut 3 inches above the tube they slide into. the original plan was to put the bases in the vice and use a heat wrench and a pipe wrench to get them moving. then i found a piece of tubing with an Id the same as the OD of the laterals so I abandoned the original plan and welded a sleeve of tubing to the laterals and drilled a hole so that i could slide them over the stubs and bolt them in place
