I wonder what the caption of a short vid would be of a guy in one of these machines vigerously trying to get out of a water hole?!

Why do we waste tax money on bridges and roads when we can all just drive AATVs

Interesting that the Beaver brochure was an Aquacat mfg. by Beehoo engeneering. In 1967 I bought an Amphicat from Beehoo and they had a busy assembly line going in Streetsville Ont. Wonder what year they made the Beaver?

Phillip, that brochure was out of a magazine I believe that was featuring more than one AATV. The Beaver was actually manufactured by Wheeler Mobile Ltd. it just happened to be on the same page as the Aquacat.

The history of Beehoo is pretty interesting stuff. Ron Beehoo manufactured the Aqua-Cat before the Amphicat ever went into production- around 1957, which makes it a very early amphib. I have a couple good articles covering the history of the company and I'll get them to Mike when I can get away from work long enough to scan them.

web site on the Penguins and Beavers

    Interesting read

    Penguin / Beaver ATV information

This makes 8 Canadian companies I am aware of that made AATVs

Argo, Beaver, Bazoo, Jiger, Multimobile, penguin, Rough Rider and Skipper

Really Jiger should be 2 companies, Jiger Corp and Breton Versatrek Ltd
Aside from the body they were different mechanically and made but two completely different companies.

If any one can add to my list let me know
