I must has it, I must add to the the 14 tires I just bought that have not been ran once yet,

By the way does any one know if they will fit a 9" rim? ...
Every time I have to push 1... I buy 10 more bullets

As much as I want to believe that this is the ultimate AATV tire I have these problems with it:

It weighs 37 pounds, with a nine inch rim it's going to weigh 45 or 46 pounds, nearly three hundred pounds on a 6x6

The lugs are huge and close to together, it would probably work great in watery mud-BUT WOULD IT CLEAN OUT IN THICK MUD?
ONCE YOU GOT IT IN THICK MUD WOULD YOUR MACHINE HAVE THE POWER TO TURN THE WHEELS? COULD YOU SPIN THE TIRES FAST ENOUGH TO CLEAN THE TIRES OUT?

The huge lugs on the side would clean out, but how hard would it be to turn these tires in the water? Even the 25" Argo swimmer is difficult to turn in the water-THIS THING IS MASSIVE.

The lugs are so tall I wonder about turbulence and swim speed. Will they swim at ALL?

If they do swim and they do clean out they will be without a doubt be the new amphibious king. I am waiting for first person with the guts to put down his money and answer all these questions for everyone on the forum and then broadcast the results. I wait with baited breath.

These things look awesome, but they seem pretty pricey......although they appear much more durable and still cheaper than the Argo tire. I'd love to try a set on my Super Swamp Fox!

Looks like there's some talk about these tires.......

    New Tire Interco Aqua Torque

About half way down on the thread someone says they'd work great for 6 and 8 wheel ATVs. The next person says "thats true it would be a great 6x6 tire but again how many of those are around?"

This just shows the ignorance of the 4 wheeler scene. First off, if they took the time to read the first sentence on the Interco website they would see that it says:

"A tire designed primarily for use on amphibious vehicles...."

And second, they obviously have no clue how big AATVs have grown since 6x6World came out.

    They've grown pretty big!

The Aqua Torque looks like a pretty novel idea. It's weird (to me) that they would undertake the effort to provide a very end-use specific tire to what really is a niche hobby. It makes me wonder if they're trying to compete directly with Carlisle, or if they were actually approached by a manufacturer to provide them as an OEM tire? The price is still high for such a cheapazoid as I am, but well within the retail price range of other high-end tires.

I picked up my Executioners on wicked-sale from Dennis Kirk ($85, I think?) but the price went up to $125 a couple days after my purchase. They command a bit more than that on most other sites...

I read this post too and I thought the exact same thing as you. The 4-wheeler crowd does,nt have a clue as to how big the amphibious community still is, and is steadily growing thanks to this great forum. Maybe all of the calls about reproducing the ASX tire was the cause of this tire being produced?

Since Argo contracted Calisle to design an amphibious tire for them, I thought that maybe Recreatives had done the exact same thing. I called Recreatives and talked to Jay in the parts department and asked him if he was aware of the new Aqua tire that Interco had just released and he had,nt heard of it.
