Dennis,
What are you wanting to know about it? The seller lists some information in the listing:
eBay Motors: 1985 Argo 8x8 (RARE, MUST SEE) (item 160199158932 end time Jan-25-08 06:07:12 PST)
Mike,
After talking to the seller I found that he really doesn't know the actual year. He has only owned it for two months, he bought the Argo to take to his camp ground then found out that they only allow golf carts after he had it at camp......something about tearing up the grass.
The only thing I notice different is the side back seats do not have padding.
Not a big deal you can use life jacks as seat cousins.
If you do not like the machine let me know if you will be selling
Why do we waste tax money on bridges and roads when we can all just drive AATVs
Thanks. I think I can make some padded seats pretty easy, I got this to take the grandchildren in, figured it would be safer than the 4x4's in the garage. I'm really close to my grandson and he will love helping me get it all cleaned up, he just turned 8.
Gotcha! I'm sure someone will know something about it. You may be able to call ODG and find out the year with that serial number: Ontario Drive & Gear
Contacted Bill Barns the East coast dealer. Turns out that he was the original seller of my Argo and it is a 1991 Magnum, not a 1985 as it was advertised and was originally sold to the Dept of public works in Washington D.C. Bill is a great guy to talk to. I ordered all of the books for the ARGO. Finally got to inspect everything yesterday and found that the steel floor is pretty much rusted out towards the front, but the main frame is fine. Not going to worry about it right now as I don't think I'll be going over any big rocks anytime soon. Priority is to get the grandchildren out riding.
That's great news! Post up some pictures if you get a chance.
Hi Dennis,
I saw your Argo on E-bay Looks good, my grandkids have a blast when I took them out.I'm sure yours will to.
