17 hp Kohler v-twin carb?

[1975 Argo 8x8 2-Stroker]

Does anyone have an idea where I can get a used carb for a mid 80s (out of an argo) Kohler 17hp V-twin 4 stroke?

The engine turns over, has lots of spark, and upon removal of the heads and intake manifold, the pistons and rings look great, so to sell it for parts would seem like a waste of a good engine.

yes i have bought 3 items from them in the past year.they are a little slow responding to emails but honest to deal with.

I usually use Kohler's parts lookup on their site to get a part # and go from there. You can find your engine's model and spec numbers and pull up exploded diagrams with part numbers, etc. That way you'll know your getting the right part for your engine.
