    You are dead on right... That's the ONLY way this could have happened. The carb itself is too high, and I was only under water for about 2 seconds max... but the side intake was definately under water.

    You may want a snorkel for the intake too.

    This is a funny comment because when I was explaining to a friend what an Argo was and told him it was amphibious he thought it dove under water like a frog. He now knows it floats on top but it did get me thinking

    Beautiful

    First of all I am happy you got'er all cleaned up.
    Second I am real happy there is pictures, and they are great, specifically the one with you entering the water off the rock.
    Third as mentioned, these are must do's. I would not enjoy my outings neear as much if one of us does not pull something similiar.
    Fourth I wish I had of been there with you!!!!
