    10% Alcohol Gas??

I searched for an answer but could not find one.

As a new owner of an Argo conquest I am wondering about using
"Normal" gas. All seem to have up to %10 alcohol. Argo says not
to use it but there are no places that have alcohol free gas anymore.
At least none in a reasonable distance.

Is there something I can do to allow me to use the alcohol enriched fuel without
    ruining the Kawi 20hp engine?

    Thanks in advance

91 octane fuel has less then 10% ethanol.also you can use an amsoil additive that helps solve any ethanol related trouble.

Are you a Canadian? Many hundred Conquests are run in Ontario on whatever gas is being pumped. The govt. actually requires increasing percentages of alcohol. In hot weather gas stabiliser is necessary on any gas stored more than a few weeks or the fuel system cleanup can be maddening. short of that nobody seems to be having any problems.

    Nope, I'm in Sunny Florida!
So I guess if I keep Stablizer in the tank it will be ok?

Stabilizer helps , and if you have problems (IE Sticking Valves), add some ATF to your gas.

There are a lot of fuel treatment products available now to deal with ethanol based fuels. Walk into any Autozone or other auto parts store and you would probably have about a dozen different options. Gold Eagle, maker of STA-BIL products, makes a good ethanol treatment for use in all vehicles, including small engines. Here is their site page for this product:

Here is also a pretty good FAQ section on their website that explains more about ethanol based fuels and treatments for it. Hope this helps!

Thanks! That was the kind of information I was looking for. I'll drop by Autozone and pick some up!

Cool! I also just happend to click the 'where to buy' button on that ethanol treatment and autozone wasn't listed under that for some reason. If they don't have that particular product, they should have something similar. Other auto parts store should have that STA-BIL though, heck even walmart might have it!
