    governor adjustment?

Im trying to get a little more kick out of my 16hp vanguard. Im thinking about the hi rev kit, is this a good idea? Or can I tweak my governor some?

Tweaking the governor will only allow you to maintain a constant higher rpm.It will only gain you a small improvement in overall speed(NOT HP)I have mine set to 4150 rpm. and dont keep it there for extended periods.I wouldnt go more than that for safety of engine without upgraded parts.
