    year model on Max 4

    hello this is saiga shooter
    trying to find year model on an older max 4 I bought that has a tacumsy single cylinder engine. Anyone know what years this engine was used, no data tag on vehicle.

    Your Max is most likely a 1980's model. Recreatives stopped using the Tecumseh OH series engines and replaced them with the Briggs Vanguard engines around 1990 I believe. There may have been a year or two where both were available as well. If you get the numbers off the blower housing on the Tecumseh, you'll be able to decode them and it'll give you a date when the engine was manufactured. Here's a link:
