coot I.D.

Hi all,
I don't know much about these, so, please bear with me....

I've got an old coot, looks like it may have been in the militray, it's painted o.d. everywhere, looks original.
It has the wrong engine, I'm sure (8 h.p. Kohler), high, low, reverse trans and friction/belt clutch/ drive like a snowmobile.
2 wheel steer, live axles. It seems pretty solid.
It's been sitting a long time.
I keep thinking I'm going to fix it up, but, now I've discovered a "Hustler" I think I want instead.......grin......

can anyone help me I.D. this, and or how much I can sell it for?
It's in northern CA, if anyone is interested.

The Coot is probably worth nothing and I'll be glad to get it off your property for a small fee.

Seriously there is a website called Coot World dedicated to these unique machines.

I'm sure you can get an idea on that board what to price it for or maybe someone might be interested in buying it. Or you might find a community that motivates you to keep and restore it.
