Looking for any info that anyone has on Busco Beach. I've seen the videos here and it looks great--but I've also seen other videos on the net that make me wonder. It looks like there are some folks there that get pretty crazy with some pretty fast machines--add some alcohol and that makes it even more sketchy. I'm looking to take my 750 HDi up there with my three boys, but I don't want some guy landing his RAZR on top of me when he loses control going 50 MPH. I don't mean to sound like a stick in the mud (pardon the pun), but what do you folks who've been there say? Thanks!

It really is a pretty calm place. If you were to only ride in the open motorcross areas then I would say you would have to watch out and be careful but we really ride in different places than the RZRs and sport quads. Plus, even with a lot of people there, you really don't run into too many of them on the trails.

Thanks Mike. Looks like I'm headed to Busco Beach this Saturday, then! You've got a great site, by the way. I've been perusing it for several years and it's a good forum--very balanced and professional, frankly. I've recognized for awhile that it's a site where you can count on getting solid advice and counsel--not flame. Thanks for your efforts.

Mike pretty much hit the nail on the head. Where we ride in the woods and trails most of the time the razor and quad just ride on the alternate trails which avoid the mud. Just as any where there are those that you must always watch out for. Have fun and let us know how it turns out for you.

Fall Busco is usually the same weekend as Columbus Day, Oct 8 this year.

Thanks for all the feedback--took the boys over there and had a great time. We'll definitely be going back. Really friendly folks running that place over there--I highly recommend it for anyone who's nearby.
