Attex Tomahawk/4 stroke owners.....help needed please

If anyone has a Tomahawk or Tomahawk 'Lil Truck with a 4 stroke Tecumseh OH160 in it and has the original key could you please let me know. The owner of my 'Lil Truck lost the key and I can't find a universal key for it anywhere. I'm assuming the key is a universal fit. If so, and someone could make me a copy of their key I'll pay you whatever the cost is plus the shipping and some money for your time. The newer Max ignition keys are short universal fit ones, but this one is a little longer than those. If anyone can help, I'd certainly appreciate it. It'll be much better than starting my Attex with a screwdriver.

Oh man, thats a tough one. My key broke off in my original ignition switch. I still have it, but it too required a screw driver to use. I always used a swiss army knife though. I felt it was more upscale and similar to the cool flip open keys. I searched online without much luck unless you convert over to a snowking plastic red pull in and out thing (sarcasm). You could rewire it to use a briggs switch, but it is NOT plug and play. At least the grounds are on different positions on the switch and it will cause serious issues if you just plug it in and try and run it. If you do find someone that can get some made, you may want to check the switch first. My switch says key "a" on it. That being said, there is a small possibility there maybe B and C code keys as well.

The ignition switch on my 'Lil Truck is still good, but it's missing the key.......I'm actually using your old ignition switch that had the broken off key in it that you gave me. It actually works very well......as long as you have a coin, screwdriver, or any other MacGyver type object at your disposal.

I wonder what switch I was looking at in my garage. I wonder if George has a good key. Oh well, if all else fails I'll get you a little swiss army knife for x-mass to go with the switch. I could engrave attex on it and you could tell the townies its a special edition flip key multi-tool.

I've got a bunch of old Attex ignition switches & keys, but I'm not sure if any are from a Li'ltruck. If you're not using the switch now, ship it to me and I'll see if I've got anything that will fit (then I'll sell it back to you)

Cool! Thanks for all the help guys. And Don, if you're up this way I can just give to you in person. I'm in no rush for it. I'd like to catch up with you and the boys since I was only at Ashtabula for a few hours.

No no no Don. You got it all wrong. You are supposed to give me the key and ignition and I will sell it to swift for you only taking a small 90% handling fee.

Okay..... JP; I'll be glad to help you out. Give me the switch and I'll find you a key and Drew will get it back to you. What's 90% of nothing? We'll be up in NY the weekend after Thanksgiving and it would be great to see you then!
