I just pulled the old 16hp from my 6x6 and have to pull flywheel to change stator. In the process of doing something else I broke one ear off the flywheel...that is when I called it a night and put my hammer down gently and walked away. Good thing I have an extra flywheel...just have to get the patients to go back at it and try and get the old one off now....

Still debating on if I should swap it out for the 16hpe duromax???????

Well pulled the flywheel and found the culprit.... a bolt... better than a blown motor but it did mess up the stator and flywheel magnets...
if i'm going to replace the flywheel and stator should i replace the magneto's too?

Thanks for the recommendation Drew. We have been in contact, but I have been a bit slow to reply. Just started the new job and working ~100 hours a week... tis the season. Hopefully we can get everything nailed down and I will have parts headed to fastEd on Saturday.... I know what it's like to have a machine down and be waiting on that one little part!

photo attachment is what I have for you Ed
