    I am not sure of the weight of the honda engine. You would maybe want to get the weight of the original engine and çompare to the honda. If the original was a Tecumseh, you may not be to far out. For instance, the 23 Vanguard twin that I put in my 91 6x6 was far lighter than the 16 opposed Briggs twin. Also a smaller engine in structure so there is a lot more room to work around. The Honda engine would be a good power pack. I personally don't think it would make that much of a difference. I don't use me in water deep enough to actually get it to float.

    I replaced my 18B&S with a 23B&S and no difference in floating. Height is more of a potential issue if you want to run with the hood installed.

    Nubs I am using the same ,a honda 20 hp with straight shave could you tell me what clutch you are using , thank you
