    Escargo winter kit.

Got the winter kit for the Escargo's on today It took about a hour to install both sides. I just started at the hinge and worked back till I got to the back tire them moved the machine and bolted to the back again then moved it again to compleat the connection. All I needed to use was a small impact driver and a backup wrench. It was so easy even I could do it myself. Everything you need was in the box, all the bolts, nuts and washers along with a bag with extra hardware just in case. They fit perfect, every bolt fit the pre punched holes in the main tracks with no difficulty at all. I have some pictures here and will have a few more tomorrow and some action videos after the madden voyage. The tracks where excellent before the extensions so I'm really looking forward to seeing what I can do now with 6" more track on each side!! Now the overall track width is 28"!!

That is a lot of track. The beast should float like a cloud now in the deep stuff. What are the paddles on the extension made of?

2014SE- very nice. The extensions are thick-walled aluminum. It will help floatation even more. The best part is that the winter kit will help you hit obstacles off center, and it will push up against the obstacle....actually get taller, and the aluminum cleats will wrap and grab the obstacle to help pull your main track up. It adds traction in this fashion where there would normally not be as much. You can get a track up on some pretty tall obstacles if you don't want to winch out.

Got out and got some video of the argo with the winter kit. The snow was between 2 1/2' and 4' depending on where the wind blew it. I was quite impressed with it, I took a run through the bush and when I can get that video off that action cam I'll post it too.
