Idle speed for 2003 Argo conquest with Kawasaki FD620D

Hi I am trying to make sure this new machine is setup correctly. Seems to be idling very low to me, you have to give it gas to start it but it does idle smoothly after but my meter tells me its idling from about 700-900rpms

    Thank you

Much higher than that and the clutch will start to engage and have constant drag on the drive belt and may drive on it's own.

I suppose the old saying "as high as necessary and as low as possible" applies to Argo tickover.
