Max IV registerd as a boat swimming in the Erie Canal

Here is some footage of a Max IV that my friend Brady and completely rebuilt. This is it going for a swim in the Erie Canal. Needless to say, we got lots of looks with it later that night when we drove through the Canal Fest in Tonawanda, NY. It is powered by the 440 CCW that was in the Buggy in the other video.

You guys crack me up. I'll try to get my RIM done by Canal fest so I can give it a shot this year. Bilge pump, oars, PFDs and camera- standard equipment...

Bring some rubber boat bumpers for the sides too so we can tie the machines together when we stop at the water side bar for drinks. We passed a couple Sheriff boats and they just waved and gave us thumbs up. There was no trouble at all from anyone.
