    New Max 2

Hi Has any one out there got a new Max 2 from the new owners mudd ox and tried them against the older ones like a 2009 year made one.How much better are they. How much more zipper are they with those bigger engines in them ,a 29 hp in a max has got to get up and go a lot more than my 18 hp one.I want to get a new one set up for the tracks with more power too,but just want to know if it is worth the price?

I've not driven the new ones. I have an older max2 with a transplant 18hp which is pretty stout. I would imagine that even a base Max2 with the 19hp Kohler efi is plenty strong.
My other Max2 has a 20hp Kohler carbed motor and its a brute. I can only imagine what the 29hp engine is like. I know that many folks are purchasing straight from the MuddOx plant as the dealer network is not fully fleshed out just yet. It takes time to build or in this case rebuild a business.
I believe that a well optioned, new, and improved Max2 is a great deal. They are slightly more expensive than a four wheeler, but when the going gets tough, the four wheelers are left back on the trail. The latest generation machines are the best ever made.

The Max II models are my favorite. I'd love to own one. 29hp would be serious stuff.

I have one of the new Max IVs with the 29hp EFI engine. It has plenty of power to push the tracks over anything I have tried. I can imagine a Max II with that power plant would be a lot of fun. I am new to AATVs, so I cannot compare models for you.
