help finding out what I'm gonna buy

Hi I'm Martin I'm new to the forum and have found an Attex not to far from me it has a 360 Yamaha engine. The problem I'm having is what it is and also is it worth restoring. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks I'll add photos as that's all I have to go by[IMG][/IMG]

Attex listed a machine with a 340 Yamaha in 72, but never used a 360 to my knowledge, so you most likely have a transplant. If you post pictures, somebody here will know what it is for sure. Good luck!

It's a first gen machine. Painted white as well. Personally I would pass unless it was darn near free.

Make sure the rest of the trans is there before considering it.

It looks like it's been outside a long time and may not be worth too much. The frames on those machines are very light and don't take a long time to rust through. It would be a good idea to check it out closely be for you make an offer.

This looks like a parts machine to me. If you're new to the hobby, I'd look for something better.

I'm more partial to 3rd generation Attexes, 2nd gen. machines are pretty decent too. I stay away from these 1st generation machines.
