    Amphicat reliability??

    [/U]ate these machines worth messing with?? Cheap!!! Tranny issues of any kind to steer away from?? Thanks for your input!!

    What transmission is in it? I like the 6 plunger trans (not sure what the actual name is).......seems smoother than a T20

    The plunger type was the best one offered for the Amphicat (IMHO). If it's got a good engine/trans and a water tight tub go for it (if you can score one for a great deal). You will want to add bigger diameter axles as the stock ones are puny. That is the only downfall with these machines.

    I always liked to Looks of them and I also thought the tranny was good to go. I would take one if I could find one close to me at a good price !
