I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems. I though I messed up something with my account because last night I was typing a post when the power went out....or maybe I did mess something up for us all

Mike if it's of any use to you, I have posted a couple of messages in the last few minutes, but one attempted post gave me this message:
    6x6 error.jpg

That does help. Thanks for posting that. I have seen that this is a global issue with several vbulletin sites and not just 6x6 world. I am continuing to look into the problem.

Edit: Looks like it's not confined to vBulletin sites but others. It may be an issue with our host.

Ok, this is an issue with our host and it is affecting multiple sites/servers when it comes to caching and cookies. They know it's a widespread issue and are "working on it". Let's hope for a quick resolution. I'm going to give it some time and if it isn't resolved shortly I think I can code around the issue for a temporary fix. Sorry for the inconvienance during this time. I would suggest that, if you are writing a long(ish) response or thread, you copy the text before you hit submit. This way, if the site gives you an error, you can just go back and simply paste that text into the editor and post again.

Your back button is the arrow pointing to the left. You can also try logging out and then logging back in. You can also try refreshing the page by hitting F8 on a windows machine or command+R on a mac.

For iPad users push the 3/4 circle in the right corner where you see 6x6 world.com this has been working for me.

Mike just FYI I was being issues with the site for a while such as not showing a post reply without going full circle back to the original post, these issues were mainly with my PC, but yesterday and today were bad, so I checked the kindle which worked fine. I did what I do when I have PC issues and delete a bunch of things including older windws version and it works for now, other than the filmstrip pictures, I tried the compatibility thing which works though it does not show post times or thread updates. Again it is what it is, I just deal with that.
Oh and editing text was next to impossible as it would delete what was ahead of what you altered each keystroke.
The kindle works OK but the filmstrip pics are postage stamp size.
    Hope this helps,
    Jim

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
