Oil blow back on 84 IC with kol twin series II

Yesterday was out for a ride and at one point noticed oil by the vents on the hood, stopped the machine and found that oil had blown back from the rubber tube from the block to the air breather. what would cause this all of a sudden? checked oil, levels good.

One more thing on this post was was doing a lot of grader ridge climbing, steep ups and steep downs ie > 45 degree climbs and drops , could this be a contributing factor?

That's the crank case breather and it is suppose to vent to the air box. If your getting a lot of oil out of it your oil may be to full or thin. Unless your getting a lot of Blow by ??
A lot of WOT running can make you get a little also.

    Check the compression.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Also do a leakdown test. a very clogged air filter will act like a choke, and can cause oil to be pulled in there as well.

Can try but the tube is only basically sitting under the air breather by another hole, no real seal to the air breather box, the original connection spot on the air breather was interfering with the throttle cable(binding on cable at full throttle) so it had been moved. This is part of reason blow back was on hood and not all over the inside of the breather. PS tube was moved to postion in pic to see what was happening normally it was sitting under the breather
