    Need 22 hp Predator guru

Tried racing a 22 hp Predator motor in an Attex this weekend and it didn't go well. When turning at high speed, the low oil sensor kept shutting down the motor. Has anyone had the crankcase apart on one of these to see why the oil likes to fly out of them? I had no problems with motor with normal trail riding. Not sure it would be a good idea to disable the low oil cutoff to race it.

We've had a few predator motors have the oil sensor issue. We've disabled them and never had a problem. We haven't had the crankcase apart but the issue seems to go away when the breather isn't routed to the air box. I think there is just to much suction or how enough fresh air intakes. I've also found the 22hp's like to self level the oil like harleys do.

Ok, I haven't looked into the oil sensor yet to see if it is pressure or level activated. All I know is that it does not like sharp right hand turns!

Hey thanks! I feel better about unhooking it then and giving it another go.

We have one disconnected also. And don't worry about it. Just check oil before using it and have fun!
