track sag and air pressure when installing tracks

Question what is everyone's idea on track sag and air pressure when installing tracks??
All my tires are indexed,I'm at 7psi on all 8 tires on my conquest with Adair pro series tracks
and have a bout 2.5 inches of sag on the 2nd and 3rd tires. What is your thoughts???

I've had several sets of Adair tracks. I've never had a sag issue like that, and feel that 1.5" of sag is normal on the 2nd and 3rd tires. If the situation worsens, you may want to remove one segment of the track which should put you back to normal. I run my tires at 6 or so PSI outers and 5 psi inners.

We have track sag as well but it has never been a problem other than they slap the body at times. We index the tires and fill to manual specifications, 5,7,7,6 lbs. front to back.

2002 Conquest, Gator Tires 22 inch I ran 10-7-7-10 Right or wrong that is what got me threw the day with no problems. After I pumped up my tire pressure the tracks stayed on and didn't want to come off. Listen to Mr. Woods he nows a lot more then I do. On my new machine I run 15-10-10-15 Again listen to Mr. Woods

Ok Noel what do you think??? Shorten the track/belting????? 1Inch should be enough I think

You always want to go conservatively when shortening track, so 1" should do, when getting things back together you should be able to drop air pressure as well for a more cushioned ride. Let us know how it works out.

Noel All good, I cut 1 inch of each track, reinstalled aired tures up to 5 lbs and now have 1.5 inches of sag on 2nd and 3rd tires
