    electric fuel pump

    is any body running a electric fuel pump .i was thinking of putting a electric fuel pump on my 1983 16 hp argo what psi to run ? or should i stay to the pulse pump

    You will need a regulator that is a 0-4or5 psi
    The pulse pump generates about 3psi

    I would not go over 1 psi. B&S has a pump which I would recommend. I put one on my Bigfoot and it worked very well. But I then ran into battery generator problems. No battery, no fuel. So I would only recommend on models which have an alternator.

    I still have my mechanical pump. The electric one is just an auxiliary one that I only turn on when I first start the engine or for help on steep hills.
