    Tires

Since I'm new to the 6x6 world, I need to ask a question. Do all 6 tires need to be the same make and type? In other words, as long as they are the same size will the type matter?

They all need to be the same diameter, two 22" tires from different manufacturers will more than likely measure out to different diameters. This will cause strain on the drivetrain as all axles are chained together and a tire with a larger diameter will cause binding in the sprockets/chains. You'll probably be fine with a slight difference on soft ground but you'll have accelerated wear on high traction surfaces.
