New engine, less then a week. We race on June 9 in NY. It wants to start but I don't know what else to do. I have pulled it three times and checked and rechecked the timing. When I get home tomorrow I will do a compression check. The entire thing has been rebuilt and it is a bear to turn over so I think the compression will be good.

Scott just something to check, I haven't gotten my 440 running either as I was trying to cheat over the winter and do a halfright start test. Any how something to check, when I had the coils ground wires tied together ( to make one wire I could ground if it took off) at the harness plug one would kill the other and had to separate and make 2 kill wires or no spark. Maybe try and unplug the harness for now.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

Hey, Scott; This may be a silly suggestion, but try swapping the ignition wires: either the primaries coming from the breaker plate to the coils or the secondaries going to the plugs. From what you've said, it's acting just like the wires are swapped.
    Good Luck!

It will be nice to meet you in person, Don.

Matthew's loaded up and heading out first thing tomorrow, I'll follow on Thursday. Saturday's weather looks a little sketchy but we've seen that before.
