June 50th race event ashtabula update

Ok I have had several people ask about trying a race before they put money into there machine for safety equipment so here is what I am going to do at the June event we will have a trail machine class for one race you need a minimum of a factory roll bar and seat belt and a helmet no windshields allowed. If you have glass headlights they need to be taped up the morning of the race and all machines need numbers and you will bring your machine through tech on Saturday this is going to be a one time race if you have fun and want to do more then we want all safety equipment installed.

Thanks for setting this up Dave. Sounds like a blast! Hopefully we get a good turnout for this one. Do I get lap handicap if I enter my Argo?

Does this mean I have to "race the truck" ?

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

'Ain't-never seen a factory roll bar for a Swamp Fox but I've got some old fence posts I can zip tie to my seat back and a few lengths of bailer twine I can weave into a seat belt.

I've seen similar race machines, but it was a long time ago.....
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

    (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

Does this not already exist somewhere here?

Sorry for the absence, we bought a house and desperately needed to get it livable. Apparently, an upside down Attex body doesn't qualify as a "roof over your head".

man if thats legal it would save so much time, not having to wash all that mud thru those two little drain holes in the bottom.
