    Sorry Steve, I do things track-related in Alaska but insist on seeing machines and doing builds/installs in person to make sure things are just right. These days we’re back to HD bigger surface area uhmw grousers. Very few steel bar channel tracks, just on narrower tires, and we do tighter spacing for more strength. Metal can be damaged if abused. Quit making steel/uhmw hybrids a long time ago for that reason- Jeff

    thanks buzz..that makes perfect sense . my tires have kind of a '' v '' pattern like many do . so it sounds like the front tires will have the '' v '' point facing rear ( better grab ) and center and rears '' v '' pointing forward . so i will give it a test now that i know . always appreciate all the knowledge you've gained about tracks being shared with us all . johnboy va.
