    Condenser for JLO 400

Hi. Can someone tell me how the Condenser is held in to the stator plate on a JLO 400? Is it just pressed in? I ordered new ones, but cannot seem to get the old ones out by prying them. Is there a trick?

Not 100% sure but you may have to press them out and then press the new ones in. Older Rotax engines were like that. You may have to remove the stator plate. If you do make sure you put a mark on the stator and the case that it is attached to so you can line them up again. From a picture I pulled up on the JLO stator plate they do look like they are pressed in. You can use a couple of sockets and a vice to push it out. Put a big enough socket over the condensor and a small enough one to push the condensor into the big socket with the vice. Not sure on how to get it back in.

Thanks. Yeah, that is what it looks like I will need to do. Kind of unique as most engines I worked on in the past there was a screw or metal band holding it in. Thanks.
