Was thinking worn chain, sprockets.
Ended up being loose 9/16 bolt in the axle end.
GREAT !!! Because it was front axle. The most hateful ones.

The loose bolt caused sprockets to misalign.
Ratchet wrench is the ticket to get in there.

In hindsight, I should of jacked up that side, & spun the tire with a wrench on the bolt. Way easier !!!
Hope this helps someone else.
I will be checking all axle end bolts from now on when greasing inside bearings.
I think I would check your bearings for play, that bolt is a safety and outer bearing may be worn or loose.
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
No play. Checked all bearings while I had all wheels suspended.
