    Spark plug recommendation

JLO 252 in a crazy colt. Looking for spark plug recommendations.

Manual says OEM is Champion K9. Through google ive found a list of supposed replacements. Currently using champion K9 that replaced the AC C83 that was in there when it last ran.

I get spark at wire everyone I pull it. Spark at plug 1 out of 10 times I pull it. Once spark plug is in the engine I have no idea how many times it sparks and never have gotten it to start. Hoping a simple spark plug could be the world of difference.

    Thank you

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

It may be a weak coil. When you get spark with no plug, there is only the wire from the coil to give resistance. Once you hook in a plug, there could be too much resistance for the plug to spark every time. Just a thought.
