    Right side issues

Having a couple of issues with my Max IV. It doesn't like engaging the reverse. Takes several tries, a few good words, and will eventually engage. Additionally, when I yank the right stick back hard in either forward or reverse, I'm getting this snapping/clanking noise, sounds like either a chain is going over a sprocket or a gear is not engaging? Any ideas out there on where I can start looking to diagnose? Thanks.

    Jon

Pull the right shifting collar out and see if the pin in the bottom is worn.

Can I do that without pulling the engine?

Pull the engine and stand together in order to get access.
