    Vangard 14 hp vtwin

Hi wondering if you guys can help me out just both a maxII and it had a brand new B. S. Vanguard 14hp vtwin comercial series motor in it.
I conected the starter to a key switch to crank it and that works the only question is where is the kill switch wire and if there is a alternator or somethin like that that puts juice back into the engine. The only wires i see on it that sticks out is a harness that is red and black wires going into it which i think is a 12 volt conector if you are runing it on propand or natural gas and there is two yellow wired conected together to two black wires that are conected through a conector. Please help just lookinbg for the kill wire and how too hook it up. Thanks Daniele

I believe the yellow wires are for your alternator. (Yellow, should be a 10-16 amp alternator) They come out from the shroud right by the starter, and they plug into a regulator. As far as a kill switch goes, grounding one of the other wires should kill it. One of those wires should run down to the magnetos.
It's all just nuts and bolts.
