hi... have a leak from the o rings on the shift plungers. can these plungers be removed from the outside of the tranny or do you have to split the tranny and push the plunger to the inside. this is a t20. thanx in advance for any help, would like to fix and get running for the weekend. lyle

Any time that you install new orings you will want to pull the plungers through the case to the outside, install the orings, and then push the plungers back in. If you try to install them on the inside of the case you will usually scar the oring putting it back in because of the sharp edge. The outside of the case does not have the sharp edge.

I don't think you can get enough play in the bands to be able to do this without tearing the case apart and removing the drumsunless the bands and drums are worn.
