    As my dad has seemed to have remembered (after seeing the old photos/videos) a guy named Dick Fait (not sure if spelling is correct) who raced in Whipper's video wrecked The bad A$$ Max , destroyed the body. They then rebuilt it and streched it out ( I think for my uncle who was a bigger guy) into the current metal bodied mkII tru-way springer. I have heard that Motion Industried had something to do with it (I also saw the sachs motor in one of their old adds). I'm sure it was rebuilt before I was born (78'). At one time it had a kawasaki triple in it.

    I've heard 73/74' was when they appeared as well.
