    The Nankang Chevron thread

OK guys lets post up everything here about those soft and spongy Nankang Chevron tires. I think that they are the best riding tire out there.....the rubber seems just as or more flexible than the old balloon tires. I never tried them in the water but I will be testing them out soon on my Max II when I register this machine as a boat and take it in some Buffalo water ways this summer. Lets hear your thoughts!

I tried these out in the water yesterday and they performed very well! They are much faster than the Rawhide III's in the water too. I have to talk to Dan R soon and see how his 24" Argo tires are in the water and I have to try out some Goodyear Runamucks next. There will be pics up of some water 6x6ing soon too.

That's some good comparison info. I'm really surprised that there was that much difference between these and the Rawhide IIIs in the water. I guess the closed chevron does make a difference. Looking forward to pics.

By the way, if you are looking for it, I split off the Frontier tire discussion to a more appropriate thread.
