Hey, I ran across this website the other day, and thought you would be the perfect people for answers. I have a '72 Sears Sportster (model # 917-700050) with a JLO L-300E. Unfortunetly the motor is shot and needs to get replaced or upgraded. My questions to you guys are one, where can I get a replacement motor Briggs, Kohler, ...? Second I do have a pair of Skiddoo Motors 500cc, the wiring hareness, and exhaust set up for these as well. Has anyone tried something like this. They look like they will fit, the motor mounts will need to be adjusted, but if I turn the jugs around on the motor the drive will be on the correct size. What do you think?
