    Opening and Packaging the model

In order to ensure many miles of safe travel I have packaged the model in a very specific way. It is designed to really protect the model and in order to ensure that it continues on its journey safely please follow these instructions for opening and repacking the model:

Here is a picture of the box labeled for its journey across the world. This should be how it arrives to you.

Here is a shot of the stickers / writing that is on every side:

    Opening the package:

    - Cut the tape on top of the box with a knife being careful not to cut deep into the package

-Open the outside box and remove the bubble wrap that is on top of the inner box

-Remove the markers used for signing the model

-Leaving the inner box in place, open the top of the inner box and remove the bubble wrap laying on top of the model

-Remove the bubble wrapped model from the box with the bubble wrap in tact

-Remove the 6x6 World notebook from the box

Please leave the inner box inside of the outer box at all times. It will look like this when you have everything removed:

Now you can remove the large bubble wrap from the model. Just be sure to keep everything for repackaging.

    Repackaging the model:

Repackaging is just the reverse of the above process.

-Place the large bubble wrap back around the model.
-Place notebook back in the box
-Place the bubble-wrapped model back into the inner box on top of the notebook
-Place the bubble wrap on top of the model and close the inner box
-Place the markers back on top of the outer box followed by the bubble wrap.
-Close the outer box and re-tape it.

When you re-tape the box try to use one piece down the middle and keep it neat.

    Package information for shipping
The weight of the complete package is 7 pounds
    The size of the box is 22"L X 14"W X 12"H

If you have any questions don't hesitate to PM or email me.

    Thanks,

    Mike
