Fuel tank for a Terra Tiger

The Terra Tiger I recently purchased does not have a gas tank. Richard's Relics states he has a steel replacement. Are these the best way to go? I've been tossing the idea of a portable boat fuel tank that could be quickly switched out or permanently secured in and refilled.

steel tanks rust, plastic is the best , by far!! beware of "replacements" especially if they are "over priced"

    Over priced??

We are wanting to reproduce original tanks for them. Have an original at a mold shop now. But they will be high due to mold cost. we're estimating them in $100.00 range. I think us serious collectors would pay more to have original style tank in them? But those that are just running - playing and not concerned with being original wouldn't. We have a plastic boat tank in one of ours and it's fine, but I would prefer original one in it for shows we take it too.

Would you buy a new original style tank if available.

I think this Tiger will be sporting a boat tank but let me know what a new or nice original would cost.
