    Oh160 Carburetor replacement WITH PIC!

    Howdy,
I'm stuck and in need of help...
looks like my walbro lmh is in need of replacement.
It is for a Tecumseh oh160.
Is it true that walbro lmh is now walbro whg?
If this is so looks like there are 2 replacement #'s are
    WHG-16-1
    and
    WHG-17-1
    anyone know what's the difference?
Or am I way off. What carb would you buy, model numbers please, and links would be a bonus.
    Much thanks,
    HP

I don't know about part #'s but Pat's Small Engine website shows a OEM carb for that engine at $129.95 plus shipping.

    Thanks Mike for the reply.
The are of the website that covered Walbro carbs...If you could highlight your address bar on the top of windoze explorer and copy, then paste in a reply on this forum.
I tried to find it myself, but it is a big site for a different brand engine, but I'm getting desprete here.
    Anyone else???
    Please??

I did a bit of a search and the only thing I found between the two was the -16 seems to have a fixed high speed jet (no part # for the jet) and the -17 has an adjustable high speed jet(part # given) therefore the -17 would be a higher price. Carb kits, venturi size etc, etc, were all the same. Hope this helps.

I just punched in Walbro Carb WHG-16-1 on a Google search and came up with a site called Carb [Frontstep Centre 5 FRontstep, inc]. I clicked on the carb number and then compared part numbers etc. The -17 showed a speed needle-the-16 didn't.

    Carb update

ordered a Tecumseh Part# 632205c carb from Pat's small engine.
Tried to cross reference to a walbro, put could not.
Got the parts number from this site.
Parts and Diagrams for Tecumseh 170084D-OH160
That's my engine inthere, plug your own for acturate part numbers(i hope)
Now if I could only find someone that sell's the oil dipstick, mine keeps popping up.

New carb what do these carb screws do help please

The brown box of happyness showed up today 1 new carb, fuel shut off and chain helper.
Carbs on and it runs even better than b4!!!(ran ok b4).
Now I now nothing about these things(carbs).
There are 2 screws that I circled in red, what does each do.
I searched and searched and found nothing.
I turned the one closest to the engine block about 1/2 turn out, made it smooth out a little, but like I said I don't know what I'm doing.
