    tecumseh 18 hp fuel pump

    I have a tecumseh oh180 i was wondering how id go about putting a pulse type fuel pump on it i really dont want to go to the electric fuel pump yet i know this engine was in a garden tractor that had the gas tank above the engine so it was gravity fed can i just drill a hole into the valve cover just like i did to my vanguard engine

    That's a fairly uncommon engine, Chops. The 160 is the one that seems to be standard, but the 180 is the one everybody used to keep watch for. You'll be amazed at the torque it produces.

    I'd be surprised if there wasn't a provision someplace into the crankcase for a line to the pulse pump, but if there isn't, you can make one like you plan to.
