artic cat 340 motor on an attex?

will this motor work on my attex? I can get a good deal on it just need to know before I buy

You'll probably have to modify the mount. As far as power goes, I had a JLO 340 in my springer for a while and it did a pretty decent job pushing it along.

great the motor is in the sled now running and all just rebuilt. The problem I have is that I am missing a coil and rectifier on my attex so I should be able to swap it all in and be running correct??

The carb should be in back and exhaust forward, which is backward from stock. I have not Idea if it will work or not but some singles cylinder engines can have the whole top end lifted up and turned around. I have no idea about that on your engine. Or you may have to run exhaust differently.

I would be ok with a different exhaust setup but if it were spun around wouldn't the tranny spin backwards??
